Students Against the Bomb: A Nuclear Weapons Activist Training

  • South Campus Center, Room 308 University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 United States (map)

In this Administration, youth are faced with something most us thought we'd never have to deal with in our lifetime: the threat of a nuclear war. Many students today are wondering - how does this relate to me, and what can I do about it?

Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility (WSPR) is holding a student activist training on nuclear weapons issues. Several speakers will discuss the basics of activism, nuclear weapons 101, and how nuclear weapons are a local issue in Washington state. The workshop will include skills and practice to help you be an activist against nuclear weapons. You'll leave with transferable skills to take meaningful action right here on campus, and be a life long advocate.
