Kate Brown is an award winning historian of environmental and nuclear history at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She will discuss her new book, Manual for Survival: A Chernobyl Guide to the Future and her previous book Plutopia, which won 7 academic prizes. She splits her time between Washington D.C. and Cambridge, MA. This event is co-sponsored by Health Advocacy International, Hanford Challenge and Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility.
