The day-long Conference will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2020, 9 AM to 4 PM at Whatcom Community College. Doors open at 8:30 AM. It will feature a participatory “People’s Keynote” designed to encourage conversation and build bridges, along with morning and afternoon workshop sessions. Social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists can receive six Continuing Education Units at no cost. Clock Hours will be available for educators.
Community resource tables and light refreshments will be available throughout the day. During the lunch break, there will be food vendors on site with lunch options for sale, as well as various opportunities for informal social interaction and individual creative expression. ASL interpreting will be provided.
Thanks to the continued support of individuals, organizations, and businesses in Whatcom County, the Conference will be free and open to all, as it has been since its inception. Building a tradition, the Conference will be followed in the evening by the the Second Annual Unity Ball!
